This means that I will not be able to update the calendar any more.  Therefore you will have to figure each months Sabbaths yourself.  It isn't really that hard to do.

Each month, look at the current Gregorian Calendar, and see when it shows the Full Moon.  Say that it appears on a Tuesday.  That means that the Full Moon will come on Tuesday night, and that will mean that Wednesday is the first day of the month.  The Sabbath will then be every 7 days from that Full Moon, and therefore on every Wednesday.  Every months Sabbath can be figured in this way.  Whatever day the New Moon (full Moon) appears on the Calendar, it will mean that the next day is the first day of each month and the Sabbath is then every 7 day.

THE BIG QUESTION

Which moon is it that begins every month on Jah's New Moon Calendar???  The first light of the moon as it begins to wax unto the Full Moon . . . OR . . . the Full Moon itself???

(For Current Full Moon Calendar, CLICK HERE)

As if it wasn't hard enough to get off of the Satanic Gregorian Calendar and onto Jah's Calendar, now we are faced with a new issue.

I have put off this study for some time, as my mind has been so full that I had no room for the study that this one takes to come to a conclusion.  So, I can fully understand if you have some consternation with having to face a new study on this subject, and how your shoulders might droop with even the thought of having to do so.  I full well realize that the transition would be very difficult for most of you.  Believe me, I would not trouble you in such a way if I did not think it paramount to get this one right.

There are several facts that caused me to stop and give this subject serious contemplation before Jah.  Let me give you a few of those to think about, and to consider.

First of all, those that have studied the subject know what Jah said in Gen 1:14:

And Jah said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons (appointed times), and for days, and years:

Most obviously, Jah placed the "lights" from which to figure His calendar.  The Satanic Gregorian Calendar was created to cover up this FACT!!!  It was done so because Satan knew of the critical importance of following Jah's Calendar, and had to do something to corrupt it.

So, where does the New Moon fit here in this scenario, and which moon is it that is the New Moon?

Let me start out with:

Exo 12:2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

The word "MONTH" is defined by Dr. Strong as:

2320 - Hebrew

2320 chodesh kho'-desh

from 2318; the new moon; by implication, a month:--month(-ly), new moon.

As you can see, this word "chodesh comes from #2318, which defines as:

2318 - Hebrew

2318 chadash khaw-dash'

a primitive root; to be new; causatively, to rebuild:--renew, repair.

Here we see that the NEW MOON is one that is REBUILT, or renewed.  The first light of the moon is not something that needs to be rebuilt from the previous waning unto the dark moon.  It is just the BEGINNING of the REBUILDING of the Full Moon which has waned unto the dark moon.  The NEW MOON is one that is to be rebuilt, and it is the NEW MOON that is the FIRST day of each month.  There is no way to make these definitions to fit with the first light or crescent moon.

As we already saw in Exo 12:2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

The word month in this verse means NEW MOON, and is from where the word "month" is derived.

It could be correctly translated as:

This New Moon shall be unto you the beginning of New Moons, it shall be the first New Moon of the year to you.

Therefore, without a doubt, the New Moon is the first day of each and every new month on Jah's Calendar.  I do not think anyone who regularly checks the Moon Calendar on this web site would disagree with that point in any way.

In Psalms 81:3, it says:  "Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day."
Dr. Strong clearly defines the phrase in the time appointed as the FULL MOON in his reference number 3677, which comes from number 3680.  Therefore this verse could then read: "Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, the time of the full moon, on our solemn feast day".

The Amplified Bible says of this verse:

"Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day."

If we take this as it reads, then obviously, the New Moon is the FULL MOON, and NOT the First Light of the waxing moon.

As you probably know, you will find versions that say "full moon" and other versions that do not.  We can conclude that even the best of Bible translators do not agree on this one.  So, here we are left in a quandary to figure out by the rest of scripture of which moon is the "New Moon," whether the Full Moon, or the first light, or crescent.

Can we do so???  I say "YES," and it appears to me, irrefutably so.  Let me explain why I have come to this conclusion.  If you find that by scripture my conclusion is wrong,, and not by what someone has to say, or what you have been programmed to believe,  then please let me know.

In Luke 23:45, concerning our Saviors crucifixion, we read:

And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

My first question here is, what caused the sun TO BE DARKENED???

Then in Mat 27:45:

Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.

I guess we could say that there were some really thick clouds, but the scripture does not declare that.  We also know that the "lights in the heavens" are for giving us the signs, times and seasons.  Right?  So, did Jah use a "light" in the heavens to cause this darkening of the sun???  If so, then which one???  Did He not plan Jahshuah's crucifixion from the very creation of the earth?  Certainly!  So then, did He also time something in the "heavens" to "darken the moon" at this very time?  Again I say, ABSOLUTELY!!!  Well then, what was it He timed to take place at the precise time of the crucifixion that "darkened the sun?"  There is only ONE THING that it could be if it is a "light in the heaven."  What is that?  A SOLAR ECLIPSE OF THE SUN, which is caused BY THE MOON!!!

Now, this being so, ask yourself, "Well then, which moon phase was it in at the time, and at what DAY of the MONTH on Jah's Calendar did it take place?"

There is only ONE DAY that the moon can cause a solar eclipse, and that is when it is in its totally dark stage.  It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE for the moon to cause a solar eclipse except at that time.

A solar eclipse event is caused by the Moon's orbit about the Earth, as it is positioned between the Sun and Earth on the day of the dark Moon at its conjunction phase. The conjunction phase is fixed and always occurs on the fifteenth day after the New Full Moon.

(Note: Several times a year, the dark Moon also appears on the fourteenth day. The fourteenth day of the first month is also Preparation Day for the evening Passover.)

Did you understand that?  The "Dark Moon" occurs on the FIFTEENTH DAY AFTER THE APPEARANCE OF THE FULL MOON.

So, on what day of the month was Christ crucified?  Well, everyone knows that it occurred during the time of Passover.  Right?  So, on which day of the month on Jah's Calendar is Passover?  I think we all know that, but just to remind you, it says in Lev. 23:

These are the feasts of Jah, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.  In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is Jah’s passover.   And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto Jah:

If the "darkness" was caused by a solar eclipse, then this was at the time of a dark moon, which occurred in the MIDDLE OF THE MONTH.  That being so, then the fourteen and fifteen day counts would of necessity, have to be counted from the Full Moon, and therefore the Full Moon would be the beginning of the month, and NOT the first light of the moon, for that moon would appear immediately after the dark moon.  There is NO WAY to get a fourteenth and fifteenth days from the "First light" of the moon, and have a solar eclipse.

For the moon to cause a solar eclipse that darkened both the sun and the earth, it would have to be accomplished by the dark moon.  For it to occur in the Passover time period, then the count to that period of time in the month would have to be figured from the FULL MOON!!!  There is no other way!

If your mind works anything like mine, then the strong question will come up, was it a solar eclipse, or some thick dark clouds that darkened the sun and earth?  Good question.  So, is there any other scriptural evidence that the Full Moon is the FIRST day of the month on Jah's Calendar??  Oh yes there is!!!

If the First Light of the moon is the first day of the month on Jah's Calendar, then the 7th day Sabbaths would take place on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and the 28th of EVERY month.

The Full Moon is a Sabbath day according to the Law.  The 6 works days would therefore begin on the 2nd day of the month.  Work is NEVER done on a Sabbath Day, regardless of which "Holy Day" it might be.  Therefore, the six days of work count must begin with the second day of each month, or New Moon.  Therefore, if the Full Moon is the first day of the month, then the 7th day Sabbaths would take place on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th days of every month.

This might cause questions in your mind, but just follow along with me a bit here while remembering that if the first light of the moon IS the first day of each month, then the 7th day Sabbaths would fall on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th days of each month, and none of the regular readers of the Moon Calendar on this site would argue against that.  It is important to keep this in mind for it is this very sequence that reveals to us the error in that premise, so follow along closely here.

Now, let us go to Exodus 16.

Verse 1.  “And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Yisrael came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the  fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.”

Remember that we are starting out on the 15th day.

Then the people began to complain about not having enough to eat. Verse 4 says:

Their complaint brought forth Jah’s plan to test His people to see if they would obey His commands. “Then said  Jah  unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from Heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my Law, or no.”

Jah answered their complaint by providing food, but was also testing them to see if they would keep His 7th Day Sabbath.  Read all of Exodus 16 so you will get the entire picture.  I am only giving excerpts to make a point, and do so in clarity with as little rhetoric possible.

The next morning, on the sixteenth day of that second month, the small round substance of Jahh’s bread was found on the desert landscape. They could not gather on the 15th day, but could on the 16th.  It was the Almighty’s first lesson on how to count the days to His Sabbaths.  In verse 12, we read what was to happen the next morning after the 15th, which would be the morning of the 16th:

" . . . . . . in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am your Elohim.”

In verses 21 - 22, we read:

“And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the Sun waxed hot, it melted. And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man:”

They could not gather on a 7th Day Sabbath, so they were to gather twice as much on the sixth day to provide for the 7th Day Sabbath without having to go out to gather it.

They gathered manna for six days, and on that 6th day, they gathered twice as much so they would have enough for the following day, which was the 7th Day Sabbath of Rest.  Starting with the 16th day, and counting 6days from there, we come to the 21st day, which means that the 22nd day was a 7th Day Sabbath of Rest, just as Moses says in verse 23.

“This is that which Jah hath said; Tomorrow is the rest of the Set Apart Sabbath unto Jah: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.”

Go back and read all of Exodus 16 carefully.  You will see quite plainly that Moses spoke this on the 21st day, and that means the 22nd WAS a 7th Day Sabbath.

If you do not see anything else, SEE THIS ONE!!!

Starting with and counting the 16th day, the people gathered manna for six days.  That brings us to the 21st day.  The next day was the 22nd day, and it is CLEARLY a 7th Day Sabbath of Rest.  If the 22nd day was a 7th Day Sabbath of Rest, then we can quite easily determine on which days the other Sabbaths came on, as they are every 7 days, right?  We can certainly see that the next Sabbath would be 7 days from the 22nd, and that would be the 29th.

There is NO WAY to get this count from the first light of the moon being the New Moon.  This, if it were the New Moon, would have its Sabbaths on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and the 28th of each month.  There is NO WAY to alter that conclusion.

We have just clearly seen and verified that the 22nd and 29th days were 7th Day Sabbaths of rest, and there is no way to refute that fact.

There is only ONE WAY to have the 7th Day Sabbath fall on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th days of every month, and that is if we go by the Full Moon being the New Moon, which begins each and every month on Jah's Calendar.

We have seen where some translators have Psalms 81:3 reading as:  "Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day," giving us some valid indication that the Full Moon IS the NEW MOON.

We have also seen how a solar eclipse could have caused the darkening of the earth and sun during Christ's crucifixion.  That being so, this could only have taken place when the moon was in its totally dark phase, and this only happens in the middle of the month.  In this case there is NO WAY that the first light of the moon could possibly be the first day of each month (or New Moon), as it would be occurring the very next day after the crucifixion during the Passover Season.

Now we see verification that the 7th Day Sabbaths fell on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th days of every month, and that can only happen if the New Moon is the FULL MOON.

Do your own study, and try to refute what is set forth here.  Do you see why I have had to change my position on this matter?  I had no choice, and thinking I did not have the time for this study was of no valid excuse before Jah.

Now, did I come up with this through my own personal study?  ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

So, how did I come to these conclusions?  I came to them by an old man in his eighties that makes me in my seventies feel quite young.  He goes by the pen name of Emet ZerYah.  This man has done a very wonderful study, and much labor in writing on this which can seem like a complex study.  My hat is off to him for this excellent work.  Without him creating this study, and troubling me with it, I would not have come to see what I see concerning this subject.  No one can write a Truth without it coming from Jah and His inspiration, so the credit belongs to Him for whatever we learn from whoever.  At the same time, I believe in giving credit and honor where it is due, and it is certainly due to Emet for the labor and study he has done, and now gives it to us WITHOUT CHARGE.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK HIM AND NOT ME!!!

It is far better to ask them of a College Professor on this subject than an Elementary Grade School student like me.

His email address is:  emetzerayah@earthlink.net

I would suggest that you study his web site before asking anything, as you will probably find your answer there.  His web site address is:  http://www.the7lostpilgrimfeasts.webs.com

He has written a wonderful exegesis on the subject titled, "It's About Time."  He will send you this via email if you will just write him and request it.  Please do so before troubling him with ANY questions.

FULL MOON RISING ON THE MOJAVE DESERT, BORON, CA.

SOME INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT THE MOON

In early historic times, most calendars were figured by the moon.

While other planets have numerous moons, the earth only has one.

The moon is one fourth the size of the earth, and is therefore the largest moon in relation to the planet it orbits.

It controls the axis wobble of the earth, and is therefore much responsible for not only the climate changes, but the seasons.  No moon, and the earth would wobble out of control.

The moon rotates upon its own axis, but at the speed of rotation that keeps one side of the moon facing the earth as it revolves around the earth.

The moon is moving away from the earth at a rate of about one and a half inches per year.  At any other rate, or was moving toward the earth instead of away from it, there would be a terrible calamity on the earth.

There are two tides each and every day.  The moon's gravitational pull causes the hi tide, and the earths spinning causes the low tide on the opposite side of where the moon is pulling.

The moon is critical to the earth's survival, and Jah placed it exactly where it had to be in its proper rotation and revolving.  If any of its characteristics were other than what they are, including even its size, we would not have a planet as we now do.  The more this is thought of, the more incredible it becomes.  Obviously, Jah does think things through when He creates something.  We could learn a thing or two just from that one fact.

Now, I ask you, do you think Jah can take care of your life???  Do you think He was wise enough to plan out your life?  Our only problem is our rebellion to that plan, and this is what causes us all of our misery!!!  From the beginning, He never planned for us to have misery.  That was the gift that Adam and Eve gave to us.  Be sure and tell them that I said "Thank You" when you see them.  However, He will use it to our good in our development in Christ if we will yield to his dealings.
